        Fire Suppression and Emergency Medical Services

        The Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District provides vital fire and life safety services to residents, visitors and businesses in Rancho Cucamonga. Fire District personnel are dedicated to delivering these services in an effective, efficient and professional manner to those we serve.Firefighter/Paramedics and Firefighter/Emergency medical Technicians (EMTs) respond to fire, rescue, medical and hazardous materials incidents from seven fire stations, serving over 170,000 residents in a 50-square mile area. The following graphic illustrates the total number of incidents for the past three years based on three main types of responses (fires, EMS responses, and other incidents, including hazardous materials responses, water salvages, public service requests, etc.). Additional details on the fire and EMS incident responses are provided in the charts below.

            The Fire Incidents chart illustrates responses to fires, including vegetation, structure, vehicle and other (such as dumpsters, utility vaults, etc.). Fire Related Incidents includes fire alarm responses, fireworks, bomb threats, etc.

            EMS Incidents Breakdown 2017 (YTD)

            This dataset is private.

            EMS incidents refers to calls for emergency medical assistance, whether injury or illness, while EMS Related incidents include any call for a medical alarm device, lift assist, or similar call for aid. Lastly, this category includes Traffic Collisions (TC) with both injured and non-injured subjects.
